Friends and family
are the best investment
a person will ever make.
When everything else fails,
they are always there
to support you,
just as you support them.

I have needed this shopping list filled
for over ten years now.
I have relied on friends and family
to fill it,
without questioning why I don't just fill it myself.

What I do, I do for others.
I hoped they would follow my example.
Never happened.
"Put the needs of others ahead of your own wants."
Dumb philosophy, I guess.
I have already paid for
this shopping list of my needs
to be filled
several times over.


A friend is a person that gives
without needing to be asked.

All promises are a vanity.

Without God's help nothing happens.

He knows our needs,
but still requires us to
ask each other.

This is me, asking.
